We all know that hearing well is important for our quality of life. Wouldn’t it be great if your hearing aids not only enabled you to hear everything as it should sound but also let you maintain your physical activity, so you can stay healthy and independent? Built on 140 years of experience in audiology, Signia’s new My WellBeing features in the Signia app go beyond better hearing.
My WellBeing empowers you to stay healthy in mind and body
With the Signia app and state-of-the-art Signia Augmented Xperience (AX) hearing aids, you can now see four important indicators of how well you are doing in your overall health. The hearing aids’ in-built motion sensor not only lets you hear better on the move but also automatically measures:
- how many steps you take each day – My Steps
- and how active you are – My Activity
The app also shows you:
- how much you are using your hearing aids – My WearTime
- and the unique Own Voice Processing technology measures how much you are socially interacting with others – My Conversations
Rest assured that all My WellBeing data is only visible in the app and not accessible to anyone else.
The proven health benefits of using fitness trackers
Research shows that even moderate physical activity such as walking around your home or garden improves your quality of life1.
Staying active increases your energy levels and confidence and is good for your cardiovascular health. It can even slow down age-related hearing loss2.
Using fitness trackers, like those included in this app, is scientifically proven to help maintain and improve physical activity3.
HandsFree now gives you CallControl on your hearing aids
The HandsFree feature uses the Bluetooth® technology of Signia AX hearing aids to enable you to use them for hands-free calls with your iPhone or iPad4, even in noisy environments. This gives you more freedom to combine phone calls with other activities or to listen to music or podcasts via your hearing aids.
The new CallControl function means you can now also control these calls directly with your hearing aids. You can accept (short press), reject (long press) and end (long press) incoming calls with the rocker switch / push button of Pure Charge&Go AX, Pure 312 AX and Insio Charge&Go AX hearing aids. If you wear Styletto AX hearing aids, an innovative tapping function allows you to accept and end calls simply by double-tapping the hearing aids.
HandsFree with CallControl uses the unique processing power of Signia AX, to reduce background noise, allowing you to hear clearly what is being said on the phone. And the hearing aids’ built-in microphone lets your conversation partner hear your voice in high quality.
