Model and music lover Elizabeth Monte lost part of her hearing when she was a child but that has not stopped her from helping other people lead richer, more fulfilling lives. When she’s not on set in front of the camera, she works as a life coach. And at weekends Elizabeth enjoys salsa dancing at the coolest jazz clubs in town.

But when it comes to hearing aids, the lack of devices that match her active lifestyle in look and feel as well as high-tech hearing could prove a problem. “Little known fact, I’ve had small hearing issues since I was a kid,” Elizabeth says. “Anyone who’s watched a movie at home or tried to whisper sweet nothings to me knows. At some point I get embarrassed saying ‘What?’ in conversations and so I just smile and nod.”
